ECR 2021: News PHILIPS

At ECR 2021 Online, Philips presented advanced clinical applications of AI (Artificial Intelligence) that improve productivity and the quality of results.

Examples include improvements to the Intellispace 12 platform in automating segmentation for lung nodule detection; Smart workflow in MR for faster patient positioning. Smart Assistance supports the operating personnel during the examination to optimize the image quality and, if necessary, avoid follow-up examinations.

With the CT Incisive, an AI-assisted camera enables optimal positioning to improve image quality; AI supports interventional procedures to ensure optimal needle positioning.
