COVID is changing CT applications in emergency departments

According to a study published in June 2022 in "Emergency Radiology," the number of CT scans in emergency departments that use CT to diagnose this disease has increased. Despite the dampening effect of the pandemic on the healthcare system, the number of chest CT examinations in particular increased, as CT was initially one of the first imaging methods to diagnose the disease.
